Rodham rye, usually referred to as Clinton rye, is a sort of rye whiskey named after former United States Secretary of State Hillary Clinton. It’s produced by the Willett Distillery in Bardstown, Kentucky, and is produced from a mash of 95% rye and 5% malted barley. Rodham rye is aged for at least 4 years in new, charred oak barrels.
Rodham rye is a clean, spicy whiskey with a posh taste profile. It has notes of caramel, vanilla, oak, and spice, with a protracted, lingering end. Rodham rye is bottled at 94 proof and is accessible in 750ml and 1 liter bottles.
